Philosophy
So many parents come to me feeling torn:
“Do I have to choose between cry-it-out or co-sleeping?”
“Do I need to stop breastfeeding to sleep coach?”
“Am I doing it wrong?”
My answer is always the same: you don’t have to choose a camp, because this isn’t about picking sides. It’s about finding what truly works for your family. There is no single “right way” to teach your child to sleep. There’s only your way, and I’m here to help you discover it with clarity, compassion, and support.
As a certified Gentle Sleep Coach and mom of two, I follow the philosophy developed by Kim West, LCSW-C (The Sleep Lady®) a proven, research-informed method that gives families a gentler, more connected approach to sleep. This method was created for families who feel that cry-it-out methods don’t align with their parenting values, or who have tried approaches like Ferber or co-sleeping and found they just weren’t working anymore.
The truth is, no one can guarantee zero tears, change is hard for little ones, especially when they’ve learned to fall asleep a certain way. But my goal is always as little crying as possible, with parents staying present, loving, and responsive throughout the process. We want your child to feel safe, seen, and supported, even while learning the powerful skill of falling asleep on their own.
Together, we’ll create a step-by-step sleep plan that’s individualized to your child’s age, health, temperament, and your family’s lifestyle and values. Whether you’re breastfeeding, co-sleeping, crib-training, or somewhere in between. I will meet you exactly where you are.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, support, and sustainable solutions that honor your bond with your child.
Because when your child learns how to sleep independently, the whole family begins to thrive. And that’s the kind of transformation I’m here for.
